NA speaker says will act to end sugar crisis if govt doesn’t
Asad Qaiser says nobody has right to remove govt through undemocratic means

National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser has said he will constitute a parliamentary committee on sugar crisis if the government does not act seriously on the issue.
The report on sugar crisis will be presented to the cabinet and made public, Qaiser said while talking on 24 News programme Nasim Zehra @8. The speaker said that whosoever is involved in the sugar crisis should be punished.
About opposition parties’ call for anti-government protests, Qaiser said nobody had the right to remove the government through undemocratic means.
Prime Minister Imran Khan will start attending the National Assembly and meet the leadership of PML and MQM, he said. To a question, Qaiser said that Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) former commander Ehsanullah Ehsan is a terrorist.
About Shahid Khaqan Abbasi’s statement, the NA speaker said it showed his frustration. He said he favours the motion about public hanging for child abusers.
