Federal Minister for Haj and Religious Affairs Dr Noorul Haq Qadri on Wednesday said that the government of Saudi Arabia has asked Pakistan not to receive Haj applications from intending pilgrims yet, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The federal minister said “It seems Hajj will not be normal this year too. The Saudi authorities have asked us to wait and not start receiving the Hajj applications.”

He further said entering into talks with any airlines would be useless until the government established the actual number of pilgrims. “No MoU is signed with the Saudi government regarding Hajj so far,” he added.
