Federal Education Minister Shafqat Mahmood on Thursday lashed out at the opposition and said that the group of the ‘looters’ have joined hands together to blackmail the ruling party of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI), reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Addressing a convention at a private marriage hall in Narowal, the education minister said that the opposition has been using tactics of ‘vote of no confidence’ and ‘Long March’ only to blackmail the government.

Shafqat said that the PTI-led will complete its five-year constitutional term.

He allegedly said that the opposition parties looted Pakistan for the last 30 years. He added that the PTI-led government is the ambassador of progress as it is working to make Pakistan a better country for every Pakistani out there.

Shafqat alleged that PML-N failed to build a single hospital for the public and for its own leaders.

“Prime Minister Imran Khan, on the other hand, has developed cancer hospitals of high standard,” the Education Minister added.

The minister said that the Sharif family is always in a rush to travel to the foreign countries for their medical treatment. Shafqat said that the PTI-led government will make Pakistan a ‘welfare state’. Shafqat said that the people of the country still stood by the side of the PTI-led government.

Lauding the premier, Shafqat said the PM Imran has no personal agenda. He added that the PTI-led government will leave the throne after finishing historical projects for which it will be remembered for 50 years.

Shafqat Mahmood will leave for Shakargarh after Narowal visit.

PTI Narowal Convention violates Corona SOPs

On the other hand, the convention witnessed the violation of Covid-19 standard operating procedures (SOPs).

None of the leaders and supporters of the ruling party PTI were wearing a face mask, neither practiced social distancing amid a surge in cases of Covid-19.
