The Punjab Bar Council has revised the plan to hold the Lahore Bar Association election, sources said on Friday.
According to 24NewsHD TV channel, the insiders said the council planned to hold the Lahore Bar Association polls on February 11.
Now, the LBA polls will be held on February 18, they said, adding that the decision to postpone the polls has been made after taking all the stakeholders into confidence.
With the approval of Vice Chairman Punjab Bar Council Basharatullah Khan and the Chairman of the Executive Committee, it was decided to postpone the election till February 18. The Punjab Bar Council has given the powers of the interim president to former president Lahore Bar Malik Muhammad Arshad.
