Three policemen were killed in firing by supporters of former Member National Assembly and Chairman National Democratic Movement (NDM) Mohsin Dawar who was also seriously injured in the police's retaliation in North Waziristan on Saturday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to reports, the police retaliated after their camp came under attack. Injured Mohsin Dawar and his supporters were shifted to the hospital where NDM chief's condition is stated to be serious.
Three policemen were also martyred when Mohsin Dawar’s supporters opened indiscriminate firing on the gate of Miranshah Army camp.
According to sources, Dawar and his supporters first opened fire and then the police in order to disperse the crowd retaliated.
This was a deliberate attempt by Dawar and his supporters to disrupt peace in the area for political scoring.
