The high command of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI), whose independent candidates have won a majority of seats in both the National Assembly and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) assemblies and a significant number of seats in the Punjab Assembly, has convened an important party’s meeting today to consider formation of alliances with other parties in order to form governments at the Centre and in Punjab, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
The party seniors, including its Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan, Asad Qaiser, Ali Muhammad Khan, will be in attendance.
The meeting will also discuss the formation of government in KP where the PTI-backed independent candidates have virtually erased the opposition parties.
