PM Imran condoles death of Seth Abid

Prime Minister Imran Khan has expressed heartfelt condolences over the sad demise of leading businessman Seth Abid Hussain the other day.

In a tweet posted on Sunday, the prime minister recalled that Seth Abid was one of the early donors of Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital.

Saddened to learn of the passing of Seth Abid Hussain. He was one of the early donors of SKMT. Condolences and prayers go to his family.

Imran Khan offered condolences and prayers to the bereaved family.

Seth Abid who breathed his last on Friday was laid to rest in Karachi on Saturday. His funeral was held at Hafiz Ayaz Mosque in Defence Phase II.

Seth Abid died at 85. He was hospitalised in the Sindh capital on Friday night.

He is survived by three sons and three daughters.

The Pakistan Muslim League (PML) leadership Chaudhry Shujaat and Punjab Assembly Speaker Chaudhry Parvez Elahi have also expressed deep sorrow and grief over the demise of the prominent businessman.

They prayed the Almighty Allah may rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant courage to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss.
