Actor Humayun Saeed has once again proved that he is indeed the master of character depictions as the Pakistani star will be seen playing the role of Princess Diana's love interest in the 5th season of Netflix's series 'The Crown'.

The actor will be depicting the role of 'Dr Hasnat Khan' in the series. Hasnat Khan was a British-Pakistani heart surgeon who the late princess had a relationship with. The surgeon practiced at the Royal Brompton Hospital in London.
Humayun Saeed will be starring opposite Elizabeth Debicki as Princess Diana.
Pakistani celebrities have taken to their social media handles in order to congratulate Humayun Saeed. Actress Ayesha Omer stated: "Best News ever! @iamhumayunsaeed to star in @TheCrownNetflix. Wow wow wow! So happy for our superstar, And so so proud!!! MashAllah!Can’t wait for this one. #humayunsaeed."
Actor Adnan Siddiqui wrote: "Very proud of you my friend @iamhumayunsaeed. I am sure you will bring nuance to the character with your acting. Looking forward to it."
However various social media users have expressed distress over Humayun Saeed being casted as Hasnat Khan as it was previously being speculated that actor Fawad Khan will be depicting this particular character in the 5th season of 'The Crown'.
