The district administration of Lahore Monday started Ehsas Libas Program in 12 public shelters of the city, reported 24News HD TV Channel.
According to the report, on the instructions of the Punjab government, the Lahore administration has started distribution of free clothes, blankets and quilts to the deserving poor people who come to the shelters.
Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Omar Sher Chattha distributed the warm hats, sheets, blankets, quilts and other warm items among the needy people under Ehsas Libas Program in 12 shelters.
The purpose of the Ehsas Libas Program is to protect the poor and deserving people from the harsh weather.
