Court extends Imran’s interim bail in terrorism case

An anti-terrorism court in Islamabad has extended PTI Chairman Imran Khan’s interim bail till January 31 in a case pertaining to the PTI protest against the decision of Election Commission of Pakistan, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The case was heard by ATC Judge Raja Jawad Abbas on Tuesday. 

Imran Khan’s lawyer Babar Awan appeared before the court. He submitted the PTI chief’s medical report to the court.

Imran has filed an application seeking his exemption from the court appearance in the case. 

The court accepted his request, extended his bail and adjourned the case till Jan 31.

A terrorism case was registered against PTI Chief Imran Khan when the party workers held a protest against the ECP decision.
