Ministry of Religious Affairs has revealed instances of fraud during the booking process for Hajj and Umrah, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to details, the ministry has prohibited individuals from booking Hajj and Umrah through unauthorized and illegal companies to safeguard the rights of pilgrims.

To ensure the authenticity of their bookings, the Ministry of Religious Affairs advises prospective pilgrims to verify companies through the ministry's official website before engaging in any transaction.

Only registered companies have been granted permission to facilitate the booking of Hajj and Umrah packages, according to the ministry's directives.

Any company found conducting unauthorized bookings will face rigorous investigations, as the ministry has decided to involve the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) in probing these fraudulent activities.
