Indian singer Shreya Ghoshal announced plans to release a remake of Pakistani singer Ali Zafar’s famous song 'Jhoom' with singer Vishal Mishra in an upcoming Bollywood film 'Crakk'.

Shreya took to her twitter account, also known as ‘X’ and expressed her admiration for Ali and praised the iconic singer for his soulful melodies, particularly his much-admired track, ‘Jhoom’
The lady declared herself a ‘big fan’ of Pakistani heartthrob.

Ali Zafar responded to Shreya's touching announcement with gratitude on 'X,' recognising her as an iconic and inspiring singer of their time. The ‘Channo’ star shared his emotions regarding this masterpiece while expressing confidence that both singers would do the song justice and extending his love and prayers.

Netizens slammed Shreya for copying this masterpiece and attempting to cover it up while announcing with appreciation so that it does not appear to be stealing, and they penned about how innocent Pakistani celebrities are and that they are unable to understand stealing strategies because they are always dying for cross-border recognition.
It is pertinent to mention here that Ali Zafar released the music track 'Jhoom' in 2011.
Although the song became popular in Pakistan shortly after its release, it experienced an upturn in India last year as a result of its widespread use on Instagram reels.
