Veteran Pakistani actress Saba Faisal’s son, Arsalan Faisal, has recently tied the knot with his lady love, Nisha.
The pictures and video of their star-studded wedding events went viral all over social media. The couple looked stunning while celebrating their big day with friends and family.
After the wedding, the couple went on a honeymoon and is now returning home. Saba welcomed the newlyweds in the most heartfelt way and shared the video on her Instagram account.
“Precious time, which will remain forever in my and my family's hearts as a priceless memory. Keep us in your prayers. Thank you all, Saba penned.
In the shared video, the actress can be seen pouring oil at the entrance of the house as she welcomes them, while Quran verses were played at the TV in the background, and later she showed a glimpse of Arsalan’s room, fully adorned with flowers.
Arsalan and his wife thanked Saba for this gesture of love.
Arsalan penned:
“Thank you, ami jaan sub cheezo k lea Zindgai main mazeed rang bharnay ka shukria”
Nisha commented:
“Ma Sha Allah, thank you so much for making this moment so special for us.”
However, the shared video drew everyone's attention as netizens slammed the veteran actress for performing Hindu rituals, claiming that it is not a part of Islamic culture to welcome like this and waste any food item by throwing it on the floor, while others reminded her that the Quran should be listened to with respect and that she cannot play it while busy doing her work and not paying attention to it.
Here are a few comments from social media users:
“Sorry mam Saba but this is not our Islam; even nothing of this type is in our Islam.”
“Ahh nice welcome, but what with throwing of oil?! You are wasting rizq Allah”
“Why the hell is she ruining her image like this? She should stay away from social media. or someone tell her to not public this family drama anymore.”
“Background mai kitni achi tilawat chal rahi hai or entrance pe hinduana rasam”
“Arti bhe utar laiti. Ya Allah please guide us Allahumma Aameen. Follow the Deen not the borrowed culture. Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him ko follow kerna hai, na ke Hinduism ko.”
“All these rituals are not in our religion totally biddat”
“This is not our rituals this is totally Hinduism shameee , pta ni Kon log hn jahil awaammm”
