Pakistani superstar Aagha Ali has appeared on Tabish Hashmi’s show ‘Hasna Mana Hai', where he revealed the reasons why engaged actresses refused to work with him.
During the candid conversation, the host inquired of Aagha regarding the claim that engaged actresses did not work him due to his ‘flirty’ personality.
To this question, he revealed that during the 2016–2017 era, actresses seemed to refuse to work with him. Whenever he would sign a drama, a few days before the shoot, he would get a call from the producer asking him whether he had some issue with the heroine. Then the producer asks the actor whether he has a concern for their fiancé. Even he would have never met the actress or their fiances before.
Then they’d tell him that the fiances or husbands of the actress isn’t letting them work because of him. Aagha questioned why, to which producers replied:
“They are scared," as he had a very playboy reputation.
Then he went to their fiances and assured them that all of the rumors were false, allowing them to relax and let the actresses collaborate with him.
In response to a serious inquiry about why this kept happening, Agha said that our portrayals of characters shape how people perceive us.
As in real life, he didn't socialize or attend parties when he was a newcomer, but the unfavorable roles he played on screen painted him in a bad light.
The actor concluded this topic by saying that:
“I think that no one should feel insecure because of anyone!”

The actor further talked about the struggles he faced in his starting career. Aagha stated that he used to cry and that is when he decided to move to Karachi. His mother permitted him.
He washed his mother’s feet, drank that water, and asked her to pay for him and those prayers eventually worked for the actor as he kept struggling to do better work.
This statement by Aagha went viral on social media, and he later took to Instagram to clarify a recent statement about his successful acting career, crediting his mother for playing a pivotal role. He emphasises that people have different ways of expressing parental love and assures everyone that his intentions are not to impose anything on them.
