The second aid convoy for Kurram, comprising approximately 35 trucks loaded with essential supplies, is prepared to depart under tight security.

According to the 24NewsHD TV channel report, the convoy will be monitored aerially by helicopters to ensure its safety.

The relief items, including flour, sugar, tea, gas cylinders, and lentils, will be distributed among the affected residents of Baggan in Kurram district.

Two days ago, on January 8, 2025, an initial aid convoy of a dozen vehicles carrying food, medicines, and fuel reached Parachinar amid heavy security.

The convoy was sent after successful negotiations between the administration and local elders, ensuring the safety of the route.

Initially planned to include 85 vehicles, the convoy was reduced to just 12 after the gun attack on Kurram’s deputy commissioner.

Nevertheless, the administration and Thall Scouts ensured robust security arrangements for the aid effort.
