The Sindh Assembly marked its shortest session of the year on Friday, lasting only two minutes, with just four members present in the House.

According to 24NewsHD TV, the session began with the recitation of the Holy Quran and a Naat.

Shortly afterward, a legislator pointed out the lack of quorum, prompting the chair to adjourn the session.

The session, summoned by Acting Governor Syed Awais Qadir Shah under Article 109(a) of the Constitution, commenced on January 3, 2025.

However, the glaring absence of members highlighted concerns about the commitment of lawmakers to their legislative duties.

The lack of quorum and the swift adjournment have sparked public criticism, raising questions about the seriousness and accountability of the assembly’s operations.
