Dutch rider Annemiek van Vleuten won her third Giro d'Italia title on Sunday in Padua after the tenth and final stage, won by Italy's Chiara Consonni.
Van Vleuten, 39, the 2019 world road race champion, won two stages in this year's race, at Cesena and Aldeno, to add to her Giro successes in 2018 and 2019.
The Movistar rider finished 1min 52sec ahead of Italy's Marta Cavalli of the FDJ team with Spaniard Mavi Garcia third overall at 5min 56sec for her first podium on the race around Italy.
Sunday's final stage, over 90km between Abano Terme and Padua, culminated in a sprint. Consonni edged of fellow Italian Rachele Barbieri and Dane Emma Norsgaard.
