Bookshop owner abducted from Lahore

A bookshop owner has allegedly been abducted from Nishtar Colony of Lahore on Wednesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

A case regarding bookshop owner Abdul Rahman Irfan’s kidnapping was registered against unknown persons.

According to police, 65-year-old Abdul Rahman left home at 5:50 in the morning.

Closed-circuit TV footage shows Abdul Rahman leaving the house when the kidnappers emerged. The investigation was on with the help of more CCTV footage, the police said.

Police said that the statements of Abdul Rehman's family have been recorded.

Investigation on various aspects is going on and the clue will be found soon, the police claimed.
