Pakistani actress Mariyam Nafees raised her voice for the girls involved in the Lahore Garden Town Petrol Pump Tuck Shop incident.

Taking to her social media, she shared a video to reveal their side of the story.

Here is what the actress said in extreme anger:

“I know two of those girls and one is a very good friend of mine. They started beating the guy as a last resort when he started commenting about their bodies, calling them prostitutes and working girls.

“He also compared their bodies saying ye choti hai, ye bari hai, and all the sick things guys can do and say.

“After that, those girls said to him you can’t talk to us like this after which he started using abusive language. He said filthy words to them and asked them to leave the store but the girls replied, “Why should we leave the store?

Further Mariyam Nafees questioned, “Is this our safety that the girls cannot go out wearing Western clothes, jeans, and shirts just to have a single tea?”

Talking about the incident she added, “No one’s father is a lawyer I don’t know what’s circulating on social media but they are respectful girls and belong to a very good family. They are not those types of girls with powerful backgrounds while one of the girls was from another city and came here for work…It’s not an act of power.

“What would those brothers and fathers do when someone like these guys harass their sisters and also threaten them to rape?”

“I would really like to know what you would do”, she questioned.

"This is sickening", she concluded.
