Nigerian arrested for smuggling cocaine in swallowed capsules

Customs foiled a bid of smuggling cocaine worth Rs36million into Pakistan at Islamabad Airport, reported 24News HD TV channel on Wednesday.

According to the FBR, the Nigerian citizen got arrested by the Customs officials during custom clearance of a flight coming from Nigeria. The FBR recovered 114 swallowed capsules filled with 1.8-kilogram of cocaine.

An FIR has been registered against the Nigerian citizen. Further investigation is underway.
