Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah’s brother-in-law, Mehdi Shah, has been tested positive for the novel coronavirus, becoming the first high-profile case in Pakistan with the infection that has caused over 4,000 deaths globally and a complete lockdown of Italy.
Mehdi Shah returned from Iran two days ago and came back to Pakistan via Syria. He has been shifted to an isolation ward following the confirmation of his infection.
