Former chairman senate and PPP leader Nayyar Bukhari was among injured in a firing incident that took place during a Jirga meeting in Islamabad, reported 24News HD TV channel Wednesday.
The firing took place during a Jirga meeting in the Sector E-VII area in the vicinity of the Kohisar Police Station.
Nayyar Bukhari’s son Jarar Bukhari and another person Malik Mateen got injured during the firing incident. Jarar Bukhari was shifted to Shifa Hospital where his condition is reported to be out of danger.
The other injured, Malik Mateen, has been admitted to Poly Clinic Hospital and he is also stated to be out of danger.
