In Karachi, the prices of a 1kg packet of the first category ghee and cooking oil have increased from Rs450 to Rs494.
Similarly, the prices of a 5kg carton of the first category ghee and cooking oil have increased from Rs170 to Rs220.
In Lahore, the prices of a 1kg packet of the second category ghee and cooking oil have increased by Rs14 to Rs444.
Similarly, the prices of a 12kg carton of the second category ghee and cooking oil increased by Rs168 to Rs5,328.
Rising inflation, coupled with political turmoil, is believed to have been testing the patience of the people of Pakistan.
