Leaders of PML-Q and MQM — government-allied parties — held a meeting in Islamabad on Thursday and discussed at length the ongoing political situation in the backdrop of the no-confidence motion submitted by the opposition parties against the prime minister, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Leaders of both parties said that even the PTI members are not happy and the government and allies would get nothing if the opposition’s claims become reality.
Leaders of both parties leaders agreed to take political decisions on their own political consciousness.
Sources quoting Q-League said that PTI did not convince their own members till yet which has been posing threat to the government.
The sources further said that MQM also briefed the Q-League about their meeting with Prime Minister Imran Khan.
The MQM maintained that the promises made with the MQM as an ally have not been fulfilled yet and still supported the government despite all the concerns.
Both allied parties discussed that the opposition-led no-confidence motion has been relying on the disgruntled members of the ruling PTI.
