Punjab Assembly deputy speaker Mazari tests corona positive

Punjab Assembly Deputy Speaker Sardar Dost Muhammad Mazari has been tested positive for coronavirus, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Sunday.
According to the TV channel, the deputy speaker of the provincial assembly has been diagnosed with the virus.
Dost Mazari said it was interesting that his one test from a government-owned laboratory came positive while another from a private laboratory came negative.
However the deputy speaker maintained that he is perfectly alright. “I feel normal and is in a self-isolation,” he said.
Dost Mazari said he will undergo another coronavirus test after a few more days.
Moreover, three employees of the Punjab Assembly have also been infected by the coronavirus. They have been shifted to the quarantine centre.
Separately, Prime Minister Imran Khan on Sunday telephoned Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser who was admitted to hospital Saturday night after his health deteriorated but now he was feeling better.
The premier extended his best wishes for the Speaker National Assembly.
Asad Qaiser said he was feeling better as he was following the guidelines of the doctors.
