Admitting that there was an acute shortage of water in Sindh, Provincial Minister for Information Sharjeel Inam Memon said on Tuesday that the Sindh government was doing its best to resolve the issue, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Addressing a press conference at the CM House in Karachi, he said the provincial government was very much aware of the fact that farmers had suffered the most. “The situation is particularly grim in rural areas of Sindh,” he added.

Memon went on to say that right now the government was focused on providing relief to the people in the next budget. “It would be our endeavor not to put too much burden on the people,” he assured.

The minister said that PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah would soon inaugurate the Orange Line transport project.
