Leader of the Opposition in National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif underwent ECG (Electrocardiography), chest X-Ray, a computerized tomography (CT) scan and Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of his lumbar spine.

Earlier, Jinnah Hospital Medical Board suggested these tests for Shehbaz Sharif, the TV channel reported.

In a tweet, PML-N spokesperson strongly condemned bringing PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif to the hospital in an armoured vehicle.

“Shehbaz Sharif was brought to the hospital in an armoured vehicle for medical treatment. Imran Khan is taking revenge for his paralyzed government,” Marriyum Aurangzeb alleged.

Former Speaker of National Assembly Ayaz Sadiq said if anything happens to Shehbaz Sharif then all the responsibility will be on Imran Khan.

However, Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Political Communication Dr Shahbaz Gill said Shehbaz Sharif has been provided facilities as per the law and ‘Shehansha-e-Alam’ would not be given any other protocol.

He alleged that PML-N Spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb has been telling a lie for Shehbaz Sharif’s disease.

It is pertinent to note that National Accountability Bureau (NAB) arrested PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif from the Lahore High Court (LHC) after his bail was rejected by the court in the money-laundering case on September 28.

The LHC rejected the bail petition filed by the PML-N president in the asset beyond means and money-laundering case and cancelled his interim bail before NAB officials took him into custody from the court premises.
