The State Bank of Pakistan has pointed out a decrease in foreign exchange reserves, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Thursday.

“During the week ended on November 4, 2022, SBP’s reserves decreased by $956 million due to external debt servicing,” said SBP in a statement.

“Major external debt repayments executed during the week include repayment of government’s commercial loans. Refinancing of these loans was in the process which would improve foreign exchange reserves in the coming weeks”.

The country's total reserves decreased from 14.67 billion dollars to 13.72 billion dollars
