Lahore High Court will hear the petition to remove Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan from his party position tomorrow (Friday).
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the court has summoned the Attorney General and Advocate General for assistance in interpreting the constitutional points on the matter.
The court has also issued notices to the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) Chairman, the Federal Government, Imran Khan, and other parties.
The channel said LHC’s Justice Sajid Mehmood Sethi will hear the petition filed by Advocate Mohammad Afaq against Imran Khan.
The petitioner has appealed to the LHC to remove Imran Khan from the chairmanship of PTI as he has already been disqualified in the Toshakhana reference.
