Another shock to K-electric consumers: Power tariff go up by Rs1.72 per unit

The ECC has approved an increase in power tariff for Karachi consumers by Rs1.72 per unit.

According to 24NewsHD TV channel, the approval was given for the second and third quarter adjustments of the previous financial year.

The quarterly adjustment from January to March 2023 will increase by Rs1.25.

The quarterly adjustment from October to December 2022 will increase by 47 paise per unit.

It was decided to maintain a uniform electricity tariff across the country.
