Shehbaz invites Haji Lashkari Raisani to join PML(N)

Nawabzada Mir Haji Lashkari Khan Raisani engaged in discussions with former Prime Minister and President of Pakistan Muslim League (N), Shehbaz Sharif, reported 24NewsHD TV channel Friday.

The meeting, which took place in a cordial atmosphere, saw the presence of other leaders, including Mir Humayun Kurd.

Upon the arrival of Haji Lashkari Raisani and the accompanying leaders, Shehbaz Sharif extended a warm welcome. The meeting, held to address the overall situation in the country, touched upon key political matters, including an invitation from Shehbaz Sharif for Haji Lashkari Raisani to join the Pakistan Muslim League (N).

Expressing gratitude for the invitation, Haji Lashkari Raisani thanked Shehbaz Sharif and conveyed that he would consult with colleagues and friends before making a decision. The conversation between the two leaders highlighted the importance of fostering unity among political forces.

During the dialogue, Shehbaz Sharif congratulated Haji Lashkari Raisani on the success of the Minar Pakistan rally held on October 21. The leaders also delved into the significance of Balochistan's development, with Shehbaz Sharif emphasizing that the progress of Balochistan is synonymous with the development of Pakistan.

Shehbaz Sharif underscored the commitment of the Pakistan Muslim League (N) to Balochistan's development and the provision of rights to its people, citing Nawaz Sharif's longstanding agenda. He expressed optimism about the transformative impact of projects like Gwadar, CPEC, and the broader development process in Balochistan.

Shehbaz Sharif mentioned his numerous visits to Balochistan during his 16-month tenure as Prime Minister. He also emphasized his contributions to education in the region, having laid the foundation for a Danish School.

Shehbaz Sharif expressed his desire to involve all political forces, including those in Balochistan, in the nation's political landscape. Haji Lashkari Raisani, in turn, praised the services and vision of Muhammad Nawaz Sharif for the overall development of the country and its people. The meeting marked a crucial juncture in political discussions, with potential implications for the evolving political scenario in Pakistan.
