The Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) on Saturday said that the party did not have any plan to send its leader to meet former prime minister and PTI founder Imran Khan in Adiala Jail, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The party spokesman Aslam Ghauri said that Senator Kamran Murtaza had not been assigned any such task as yet and there was no truth in reports doing rounds on mainstream media. “However, the JUI-F, being an opposition party, is in contact with the PTI and will remain so,” he said, adding, “We will continue to hold meetings and consultations with the PTI on different issues.”
Ghauri called for a ‘fair trial’ in all the cases the former prime minister was facing.
