The second phase of the annual Tableeghi Ijtema in Raiwind concluded with a collective dua led by Maulana Ibrahim Daulia, 24NewsHD TV reported on Sunday.
In anticipation of the large crowd dispersing, Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Lahore Ammara Athar announced temporary road closures around Raiwind until 1 pm to manage the heavy flow of vehicles safely.
According to CTO Ammara, all routes leading to Raiwind, including Raiwind Road, Pagian More, and Qazalbash Chowk Motorway, will operate on one-way traffic to streamline movement.
Traffic from Bhubatian Chowk to Mohlanwal and on Raiwind Road through Sundar Ada Multan Road, Manga Road, and Kot Radha Kishan will also operate one way to avoid congestion.
No vehicles will be permitted entry to Raiwind from the Motorway or Ring Road, and specific roads such as Raiwind Road, Manga Road, Sundar Road, and Mohlanwal Road will remain restricted.
Parking stands for motorcycles and bicycles will be vacated, while those for larger vehicles, such as cars, wagons, and buses, will be cleared afterwards.
Additional traffic wardens and official staff are stationed at key points to assist with the roadblocks and ensure the safe exit of participants.
