Pakistani cueist Muhammad Asif arrived at Jinnah International Airport (JIAP) Karachi after winning the World Snooker Championship for the third time, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
Talking with newsmen soon after he arrived in Pakistan, World Snooker Champion Mohammad Asif said that he would again try to win the title for Pakistan in the next tournament.
In the final of the World Snooker Championship held in Qatar, Mohammad Asif defeated his Iranian counterpart.
He said that the government should take measures to promote snooker in the country.
