Foreign Office spokesperson Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri on Friday slammed the Indian government and said that it should look into its defence capabilities that were exposed in Balakot.
Addressing a weekly press briefing in Islamabad on Friday, he said that statements made by the top Indian civil and military leadership in hostility to Pakistan posed a threat to regional peace. Before issuing such statements, the spokesperson said, the Indian army chief should remember the embarrassment his country and force faced in Ladakh and Balakot.
Zahid Chaudhri said that New Delhi should adhere to the conditions of the 21st century instead of the Chanakya doctrine of the third century, adding that India should remember that Pakistani people and forces were always ready to deal with any misadventure.
The spokesperson said that India’s state terrorism was getting more and more exposed with every passing day. India’s façade of being the largest democracy stands fully exposed. India is known as a sponsor of state terrorism, he said.
He said that recently, “We saw many international endorsements and acknowledgements of what India has been doing in the region and how India has been imperilling regional peace and security.” “Pakistan has been consistently sensitising the world community about the true face of India as a Hindu extremist state,” he added.
