German Consul General Karachi Dr Rüdiger Lotz has said that probably the weather and global warming have played a decisive role in the ravaging floods in Pakistan, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 

Climate change is a wake-up call and must be heeded by the global environment authorities, he added while speaking during his visit to the flood-hit areas of Digri, a Tehsil in Mirpur Khas District Sindh on Monday. 

He also distributed rations and medicines among the flood survivors on the occasion.
