Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) on Monday approved competitive energy tariffs for the export sector.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the ECC meeting held here on Monday was chaired by Finance Minister Ishaq Dar.
In the meeting, the ECC unanimously decided to fix the electricity tariff for export sectors at Rs19.99 per unit.
As per the report, the power rate for export sectors of textile, leather, surgical and sports will be Rs 19.99 paise per unit.
A supplementary grant of Rs 410 million for the Ministry of Interior Affairs has also been approved for maintaining law and order.
As well as the summary related to the fix the wheat support price has been postponed and made a recommendation to cancel the wheat import tender.
