Justice Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb of the Islamabad High Court (IHC) has contracted dengue fever, 24NewsHD TV Channel reported on Thursday.
According to the sources, Justice Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb's dengue test returned positive yesterday, and doctors advised him to take proper bed rest.
The sources said, following the doctors' advice, Justice Miangul Hassan has taken a medical leave till his recovery from the illness.

Last month, the Punjab Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department released data showing an alarming rise in dengue cases in the region.
According to the statistics, 46 cases were reported from only Rawalpindi and Islamabad, contributing to a total of 391 cases recorded in Punjab within just one week.
The total number of dengue virus patients for the year has now reached 1,094.
A spokesperson from the department emphasised that all necessary arrangements have been made to combat the spread of the virus.
Adequate supplies of medicines required for dengue treatment are available in all government hospitals across Punjab to handle the surge in cases.
