76 more dengue cases reported from KP

As many as 76 more cases of dengue were reported from across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) during the last 24 hours, taking the total number cases of the disease reported from different parts of the province during the last five months to 2, 548, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.

The provincial health department said that so far four deaths from the disease had been reported during the current season. 

Elaborating further, it said that the highest number of cases, totaling 1014, had been detected in Mardan followed by Khyber from where 484 cases were reported. 

Similarly, 261 cases were reported from Nowshera, 117 from Peshawar and 89 from Charsadda, it explained.   

Total, the department added, 40 dengue patients were presently admitted at province’s hospitals, while six were admitted in the last 24 hours.
