Imran submits statement to JIT in terrorism case

PTI chairman Imran Khan has submitted a statement to the JIT in connection with a terrorism case registered against him over threatening a woman judge.

According to 24NewsHD TV channel, Imran Khan submitted his reply through his lawyer Intizar Hussain.

He said he is the chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and he was prime minister.  What he said in the speech did not fall under the category of terrorism, he added

He stated: “The government tortured Shehbaz Gul due to political opposition. 

“In the report filed in the Islamabad High Court, torture on Shehbaz Gul was proved. 

“I had neither done any illegal activity nor harmed anyone. I am innocent, the case should be dismissed.”
