Accusing member of the National Assembly (MNA) of his own party as well as constituency of plotting to kill him, PTI member of the Punjab Assembly (MPA) from Hafizabad Mamoon Jaffar Tarar on Saturday said that MNA Shaukat Ali Bhatti had even hired assassins for the purpose, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Addressing a press conference a day earlier, (Friday, September 9, 2022), Mamoon, who is also Toyota Punjab chairman, said that he had lodged a complaint against the MNA and his father with the police. 

Mamoon, who had been elected as an MPA from PP-69, had further said that two of the target killers belonged to Hafizabad while others were from outside. “Those who belong to my hometown have taken shelter at MNA Bhatti’s outhouse,” he had alleged.
