Former Federal Minister Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan has said that the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) is ready to participate in all upcoming elections and stressed the importance of avoiding tailor-made constituencies that favor specific parties.

According to the24NewsHD TV channel, during a press conference held in Sialkot, IPP information secretary Awan called for elections to be held on new constituencies, alongside the necessity of conducting a new census.

Firdous Awan said IPP is set to kick off a public campaign in the coming week, focusing on issues such as inflated electricity bills, which she believes demand scrutiny to determine responsibility.

The former minister said the IPP is evolving into a political force dedicated to public welfare. She pledged to alleviate the concerns of leaders like Jahangir Tareen and other victims of political controversies.

Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan acknowledged the criticism she faces in the media but asked everyone to consider the bigger picture and those affected by the nation's challenges.

She urged every institution to play its role effectively, including the Supreme Court's role in managing chaos. She advised the Prime Minister to focus on alleviating the suffering of the poor, generating employment opportunities, and ensuring timely elections.

Firdous Ashiq Awan emphasized her dedication to the politics of public service, stating that her father's legacy was rooted in serving the people.

She announced plans to open another public welfare center, further solidifying the IPP's position as a public welfare-focused political entity.

The former minister expressed her party's commitment to becoming a public welfare political party, seeking to address the concerns of the public, including those affected by the recent leadership slab controversies.

Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan called for national unity, emphasizing Pakistan's need to come together to tackle its current challenges.
