Lal Shahbaz Qalandar’s 768th annual urs cancelled

The Sindh government has cancelled the 768th annual urs celebrations of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar in Sehwan Sharif, Jamshoro, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.

Deputy Commissioner Jamshoro Captain (r) Fareeduddin Mustafa said that due to outbreak of the coronavirus preparations of all kinds for urs have been cancelled. He said the lockdown will remain imposed and no one will be allowed to visit the shrine of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar at Sehwan Sharif.

Earlier, the Sindh government closed the Lal Shahbaz Qalandar shrine for three weeks in the wake of the increasing cases of the novel coronavirus in the province.
