The nurses at Aziz Bhatti Shaheed Hospital in Gujrat stopped performing the coronavirus-related duties on Saturday as they protested against the administration after the death of one of their colleagues, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The protesters, who were chanting slogans against the hospital management, said they would continue their protest till the resignation of superintendent nurse.

The healthcare workers opted for boycott as Sadaf Jamil, who was performing her duties with the coronavirus patients, died on Friday.

The 38-year-old nurse was experiencing respiratory problems for several days but the management didn’t pay any attention. As a result, Sadaf, who was looking after the coronavirus patients, lost her life after falling prey to the virus.
