The Federal Investigation Agency has put the names of former special assistant to the prime minister on accountability and interior Shahzad Akbar and ex-SAPM on political communication Dr Shehbaz Gill on No Fly List, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.

The former accountability czar Shehzad Akbar vigorously pursued cases of corruption against the Sharif family but failed to prove anything in the accountability court.

Besides these former special assistants to PM, the border agency also put the names of Punjab Anti-Corruption DG Gohar Nafees and former principal secretary of prime minister Azam Khan on No Fly List.

The names of Punjab (Zone II) FIA DG Muhammad Rizwan and PTI head of social media Arsalan Khalid were also included in the stop list.

PML-N leader and lawyer Attaullah Tarar in his late night post tweeted: “Shahbaz Gill, Shehzad Akbar, Azam Khan and Dr Rizwan were added to the no-fly list. Can't leave the country. How long have I been talking

Revenge, lies and deception never end well.

We bow our heads before Almighty. Allahu Akbar.”
