CM Mohsin Naqvi presents Rs 15m cheque to LPC

Punjab Chief Minister Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi has vowed to fix problems confronting journalists, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel.
Expressing his views during a visit to the Lahore Press Club on Tuesday, Naqvi said he believed in media freedom and disliked media restrictions.
Presenting a Rs 15m cheque to Lahore Press Club President Azam Chaudhry, the Chief Minister said the Punjab government is trying to solve the problems of journalists on a priority basis.
“Media persons are my brothers and their problems will be solved at all costs.”
Mohsen Naqvi further said the doors of the Chief Minister's office are always open for journalists.
Mohsin said he is aware of the problems of journalist transportation across Punjab. “More buses will be run for Journalist Colony Lahore,” he said adding that the security of Journalist Colony and Lahore Press Club will be strengthened.
Mohsen Naqvi reiterated the problems related to the colony would also be resolved immediately.
LPC President Azam Chaudhary and other office bearers thanked Chief Minister for giving the support money.
Azam Chaudhary gave shields to Mohsin Naqvi, Information Minister Aamir Mir, Information Secretary, and DGPR.
