Police in Rawalpindi arrested husband and a fake spiritual healer who were involved in the murder of a woman whose dead body was recovered from a rainy drainage, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.
The woman namely Batool was working as a teacher in a private school, said police.
The accused tied a rope around her and then brutally tortured her to death and later buried her dead body.
Sources said that the woman and her husband were regular visitor of fake Pir Israr, who also received cash and jewellery items from the woman.
The man was fed up by the behavior of his wife. Later the woman demanded the fake Pir to return her money and jewellery after which both plotted to kill her.
Further investigation was under way by Rawat Police Station personnel.
