Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman, Fahad Sulaiman Khalaf Al-Kharousi, called on Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi in Islamabad on Thursday.
According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, during the meeting, both sides agreed to enhance security cooperation and reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral ties.
The two officials discussed matters of mutual interest and expressed a shared determination to expand relations between Pakistan and Oman.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi emphasised the deep-rooted, brotherly ties between the two nations, highlighting their foundation in shared faith and cultural heritage.
Mohsin Naqvi noted that over 300,000 Pakistanis are currently living in Oman and are actively contributing to the country’s development.
The interior minister added that Pakistan aims to send more skilled workers to Oman in the near future to further support its growing sectors.
Ambassador Al-Kharousi acknowledged the significant role the Pakistani community plays in Oman’s progress and praised the long-standing brotherly relations between the two nations, which he said span several decades.
