Popular Bollywood star Akshay Kumar has finally reacted to senior star and politician Jaya Bachchan’s controversial remarks regarding one of his popular films Toilet. Voicing his concern over the criticism associated with the movie’s title, the male star said: “Only a fool would criticize such a film.”
In case the readers are not aware, Jaya Bachchan has lately made headlines after objecting the title of popular star Akshay Kumar's 2017 film Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, and declared it a complete ‘flop film.’
Jaya Bachchan, while talking with Indian TV went quite hard on Akshay Kumar’s film Toilet due to its bold title. Talking about the movie and social messages associated with it she said that she would not prefer a movie to watch with such titles.

Moving on, in the latest rounds of events, during the promotional show of his upcoming movie Kesari Chapter 2, Akshay Kumar finally broke the silence over the matter when he was asked if it hurts when some popular celebrity criticizes his film:
While responding to the question, the actor said that he does not think someone would criticize his movies, adding that only a fool would raise objections over his films.
Akshay said that he made films such as Pad Man, Toilet: Ek Prem Katha hai, Airlift, Kesari 1, and Kesari 2 from the bottom of his heart and every film contains a specific message or awareness regarding various issues. So,I don’t think somebody will target such movies.

Expressing his views specifically on Jaya Bchchan’s statement, Akshay said humbly: “If she thinks that I did something wrong by making a film like Toilet, so maybe she is right.”
The film Toilet Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, is a comedy-drama directed by famous director Shree Narayan Singh. It stars Akshay and Bhumi Pednekar in lead roles. The story of the film emphasizes the elimination of open defecation and the importance of toilets, particularly in rural areas.
