Gold price drops in Pakistan, so does dollar rate

The gold price in Pakistan with a decrease of Rs2,900 per tola reached at Rs126,100 on Tuesday at the closing time of the trading, reported 24NewsHd TV channel.

It is pertinent to note that in the last two days, the gold price has dropped around Rs6,000 after weeks of all-time high record in the country. 

According to Sindh Jewellers Association, the price of 10-gram gold with a decrease of Rs2,487 now reached Rs108,110. The TV channel reported that 22-carat gold per 10 grams reached at Rs99,101.

Prior to recent hike in per ounce price of gold in the international market, on Tuesday gold price fell $47 per ounce.

On the other hand, the US dollar dropped 12 paisas against Pakistani rupee and reached Rs 168.26 at the closing time in inter-bank trading on Tuesday.
